On 4 Aug, We are pleased to meet up with Hon. Felix Chung Kwok-pan, member of the Legislative Council of HK (Textiles and Garment constituency).
It was a productive conversation for letting HKSAR government know more about our association and IA industry. We mainly discussed on how to nurture technical and skillful talents for future. With more support from Government, we wish to refresh our industry's image to become more fashionable. It will definitely attract more new generation to join. On 26 May, HKIAIA had organized a member gathering event named  # A New Pulse to meet as many of the members as possible and to find out what HKIAIA can do to help them and the industry.

It was our pleasure to invite Hon. Felix Chung and Edwin Keh to deliver the Welcome Remarks.  Then, Ms. Angie Lau, Chairlady of HKIAIA delivered a warm welcome to all the guests. Also, Matthew Lam, the executive committee member of HKIAIA introduced an HKIAIA survey and encouraged active participation from every member.

Members were then enjoying the night in the wine tasting session mingling with each other. It was a relaxing and enjoyable member reunion night, as well as an important platform for us to listen to different ideas and thoughts

On 7 July 2017,Clothing Industry Training Authority collaborated with HKIAIA to organize a Seminar on “Athleisure: the Beauty of a Performance Material World!”, It was our pleasure to invite Mr. Alex Yeung and Mr. Aero Chu from Tex-Ray Industrial Co.,Ltd as the guest speakers. The major topics were New Consumption Pattern and opportunities under "Athleisure" and The Key to Success for New Generation Functional Textiles – Application of Innovative Technology by TexRay Industrial Co., Ltd.70 people were joining this informative event.
